Fly Ash Processing

AFP's fly ash processing technologies can remove carbon and sulfur from fly ash.  This can provide substantial reduction in fly ash mass/volume along with energy recovery.

Energy recovery options include:

• Stand-alone ash processing systems that can generate steam or electricity
• Coupled ash processing and heat recovery systems that directly utilize hot exhaust gases directly from the fly ash.

Ash with significant vanadium & nickel compositions can be enriched by AFP's fly ash process, yielding a product that is better suited for the extraction of vanadium & nickel by metal reclamation processes.
