Advanced Fibers & Powders has developed technologies and processes for gasifying biomass and other carbonaceous materials utilizing its entrained flow reactor background.

Research and development of the gasification of poultry litter has yielded an activated carbon with superior inorganic adsorption properties.

Pyrolysis

To complement its gasification technologies, AFP has become the North American representative for Hiroshima-Gas-Techno's Antler Kiln technology.

The Antler Kiln can pyrolyze a variety of bulk organic materials including steel mill waste, paper pulp sludge, fish waste, and auto shredder waste.

When in operation, the Antler Kiln utilizes the syngas generated from the pyrolysis of the waste materials to as its fuel source.
